65-acre industrial park investment

Working in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council, £5 million of investment was provided in 2018 to fund the further development of the Winsford Industrial Estate.  The council will invest £1.2 million of its own money to start development of council-owned land next to the existing industrial park just off the A54. It has also secured a further £3.8 million of investment through the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership and Public Sector Plc.

The first phase was the development of 17 acres of land to provide a new manufacturing facility for leading trailer and bodywork manufacturer, Tiger Trailers.  The development has the ability to extend up to 250,000m2 to meet Tiger Trailers’ growth requirements.

Developers and businesses are showing that they have confidence in Winsford and the council and its partners are doing everything possible to support and unlock the significant economic benefits this site has for the town and its residents and the borough as a whole.

The council and Public Sector Plc have been instrumental in facilitating this deal, which will attract considerable new investment from businesses and developers in Winsford and provide more skilled jobs for local people.
